Venous Disease – Preventing Harm Through Early Intervention
Venous diseases are progressive, but they are often managed reactively. By the time significant symptoms appear, harm may already have been managed.
This session, held in support of Legs Matter, will explore how practitioners, both locally and globally, can recognize early signs of venous disease, intervene sooner, and deliver care aligned with future-focused, preventative techniques.
What to expect:
- Understand the current UK clinical strategy for lower limb care.
- Examine early intervention as a tool to avoid harm, supported by key statistics.
- Explore the question: Is omission of early care a form of harm?
- Discuss real-world challenges and how to overcome them in practice.
Join the session to gain practical strategies for preventive venous care and improve patient outcomes through real-world clinical insights.
Know more from cross-specialty discussions that address everyday challenges, reduce preventable risks, and support better decision-making in venous practice.
Supported by Legs Matter, this initiative drives global awareness and continuous knowledge sharing in venous and lymphatic care.
